This
is an email based course which requires a half day
visit to the centre for a final assessment.
Throughout the course the candidate is expected to learn the
basic functions and file formats of a digital camera, how
to download image files from the camera to the PC, how to
save and store the images to the PC, how to edit the images
using the software package Adobe Photoshop 7, and finally
present the finished portfolio via a presentation using Microsoft
Powerpoint. Microsoft Office is also used to complete assessments.

this is an Online course, testing
must still be carried out at the FLC.
The
ECDL syllabus is designed to cover the key concepts of computing,
it’s practical applications and their use in the workplace
and society in general.
It is broken down into seven modules, a test for each must
be passed before the ECDL certificate is awarded. ECDL is
open to anyone regardless of age, gender, education, experience
or background.
