Introduction to Digital Photography
Introduction to Video Production

Throughout the course the candidate is expected to learn the basic functions and file formats of a digital camera, how to download image files from the camera to the PC, how to save and store the images to the PC, how to edit the images using the software package Adobe Photoshop 7, and finally present the finished portfolio via a presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint. Microsoft Office is also used to complete assessments.

Course Details

Throughout the course the candidate is expected to learn the basic functions and file formats of a digital video camera, how to download movie files from the camera to the PC, how to save and store the clips to the PC, how to edit the clips using the software package Windows Movie Maker, and finally present the finished portfolio film using Windows Media Player. Microsoft Office is also used to complete assessments.
